What do they BOD have got to do with the TV rights? Wasnt it Gallop the one who negotiated the last tv deal by himself?

Its really dumb of Gallop to come out and say that we have to sell our game less then what we should be getting because of fixed scheduling...

fact is gallop has always put the NRL on the backfoot, for every step forward the NRL as a whole takes... he somehows manages to take at least 3-4 steps backwards.

The NRL cannot afford to have a CEO like Gallop to do the things he has done to our game... and never once have i seen a business plan from gallop the whole time he has been an NRL Ceo... thats why Demitriou and the rest of the gAyFL ****tards love what Gallop is doing Rugby League

And even if 5 of them are your local juniors, the rest are bought from other clubs and stolen from other juniors

I agree, why would you say that?

Apart from the lost income, locking in games could prove disastrous depending on how teams perform. We could wind up with big games between the top sides being played at inconvenient times, and no chance to reschedule. Real good for ratings.

its going to be very interesting to see what happens.

News corp has its fingers in all pies here .
    Owns Half the NRL
    Owns 25% of Foxtel
Ownes 50% of Preimer media group ( fox sports ) with Consolidated media holdings which suprise suprise is a joint venture with channel 7

So im not sure why there investment the nrl would want to pay fox sports big money to show NRL

Just a quick thing how many of you work in the corporate world at a high level?
the wrx rumble makes me smile as much as when we smash the saints

I have never had any doubt and said all along that this lacky would keep his job until the next TV rights deals were up, he'd rip the game off for his employers News Ltd and for Channel 9 and then he will leave and News Ltd will pull out of Rugby League already having secured lucrative rights for a pittance.

It's a disgrace that Rugby League is so incestuous and backward that no one will step in and prevent the game being ripped off and will instead all just sit idly by and watch the game get set back at least another 5 years if not more.

If you don't laugh you'll cry.
